You've turned my world upside down,

With just one smile,

And you've filled my life with wonder,

As you sit by my side.

Why are you so different from everyone else,

That you can't even ignore me,

Like I need you to.

My heart beats faster,

And my feet leave the ground,

But I can't let myself like you,

Even if I wanted to.

When you are near me,

My nerves take over,

And my head starts to spin.

Maybe I am blind,

To see what is in front of me,

Or maybe I'm just afraid,

That it will end up being a fantasy,

So why would you want to be,

With someone like me.

Why do I have to fight,

To regain control,
